Mission Statement:

Westside Worship Center is a non-denominational Christian church called by God to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people and to take the gospel unto all nations.  We are committed to removing the walls that have been constructed by denominational indifference, race, cultural stigmas, and socioeconomic statuses.  We want people to know the love of God through Jesus Christ, grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and then going out to fulfill the great commission, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey the word of God.

 

This will be accomplished through utilizing all aspects of ministry, including but not limited to the spoken word of God, the Music Ministry, Youth Ministry, Small Cell Group Ministry, Community Outreach Ministry, Fitness & Wellness Ministry and other forms of ministry as they are developed thus enabling us to minister to the whole person.

Westside Worship Center will spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and embrace all who come with the love of God.  Our ministry is committed to providing a caring God-centered place of worship for all families and individuals; a place where they can belong and are free to worship.  We are a body of believers who are encouraged to draw closer to God through daily devotion, prayer, and the study of God’s word.

Additionally, Westside has made a commitment to serve the community in whatever capacity that we can. We routinely assist and serve non-members for our Annual Holiday by providing aid for meals. Pastor Stewart also volunteers her time to Emeryville Citizen Assistance Program (ECAP) as a Board Member, as well as helping create strategies for food processing and serving the public. Historically, Westside members have also volunteered their time to help serve meals during holiday seasons.

 

Our aim is to minister to the whole person! We want you to be spiritually well, but we also want you to be physically, emotionally and mentally healthy. It is our goal to help you have resources you need to accomplish these goals.

Westside During Times of Pandemic

During this time of sheltering in, working from home, school closures, business closures and the closure of our physical house of worship; like many others churches during this time of pandemic. However, Westside has implemented a Tele-conference on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening to accommodate those looking to  worship. We will continue to expand these services as we move forward. Please watch our website and Facebook page for continuous updates. We pray that each of you will remain safe and blessed as we navigate during this usually time.

Partnerships

 

At Westside Worship Center (WWC), we believe our task is to minister the whole person! In order to reach this goal, WWC has partnered with external organizations to aid us in the provision of ministry such as: We join Emeryville Citizens Assistance Program (ECAP) in an effort to provide assistance to individuals who are less fortunate or dealing with unforeseen circumstances. WWC also offers charity donation, as well as volunteers their time for different events.

 

In a continuing effort to minister to the Holy Temple (body), we join LifeStyle Fitness Studio (LSS) to provide a Fitness and Wellness programs for WWC members and anyone looking to improve the quality of their life through exercise. WWC offers a Weekend Warrior Fitness class at:

The Group Exercise program is very low cost. All other LSS services are at a discounted rate so that our members can have access to a Fitness Professional. Additionally, LSS offer Summer Exercise Programs for the young people of our community to keep them active and most importantly healthy.
